  • Condition: Excellent vintage/antique pre-owned condition. 12 well matched highly reflective lustrous pearls in polished yellow gold classic Mikimoto design. Fully hallmarked with the "M" in a clam shell and K14 for 14K purity. The natural Akoya pearls are high quality with a slight rosy hue. This aged piece has a small amount of stubborn tarnish on the back.

    Up for your consideration is this stunning antique Mikimoto Akoya pearl brooch. Crafted of solid 14K gold this brooch is a gorgeous example of classic Mikimoto elegance. From my Mikimoto collection, it features 12 highly reflective, well-matched exceptional pearls, with a slight pinkish hue, ranging in size from approximately 5.2 mm to 7.0 mm. The swirling ribbons of gold is typical of classic Mikimoto designs. The name synonymous with the finest quality Akoya pearls, Mikimoto signs this brooch with the M in a clam shell and it's marked K14 to denote purity (14K).
    This large fantastic brooch measures approximately 50 mm by 35 mm (or about 2" by 1.5") and the total weight is a respectable 9.6 Grams.

    have been well cared for and are in excellent pre-owned antique/vintage condition.
