    Description

    1868 Shield Nickel, Almost Uncirculated.
    A nice problem free original AU+ example, with significant luster under light pearl gray toning - my estimate of a certified equivalent would be a fifty-three.
    A perfect circulated example for Type. Oddly enough for an 1868, this does not appear to be a variety of any kind!
