Please find for consideration a beautiful Proof 1871 Shield Nickel.
Please note the fields of the coin display mirror-like surfaces, especially the reverse.  Please also note the tiny corrosion spots on the obverse near the rim in the 6-7 o'clock position.  We have provided a few photos each of the obverse/reverse.  Photos #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are of the coin at a slight angle to provide greater detail, while photos #7 and 12 are of the coin flat on a surface when viewing directly.
We rarely assign a grade to our coins as the grading criteria can be quite subjective. We have provided high resolution photos of the obverse and reverse of each coin so that you can thoroughly review and make a grade determination for yourself.
