Description
This is a rare coin!Mintage- ONLY 3,100 struck!!!
Certification- this coin has been certified by PCGS (professional coin grading service) a well trusted and honest coin grading company. The slab is a shield slab and the coin has been placed in the PCGS database to prevent this coin from being faked or re slabbed in a fake slab. The slab has a few chips in it with some cracking probably from having something heavy set on top of the slab but nothing serious.
Strike- the strike is perfect with no flaws of weakness due to it being a proof. There are no stress marks, cracks or lamination issues.
Surface- the surface is what make the coin stand out from the average proof shield nickels. The coin was graded cameo and it lives up to that name too. The field on both sides is mirror like while the shield is a frosty matte white.
Grade- the coin is near perfect being a 66 out of 70. Proof or not it grades nearly the same with 66 having the average micro contact marks here and there scattered throughout both sides of the coin. The color of the coin is near blast white with some signs of extremely light toning taking place. There or no large marks or distracting blemishes anywhere on either side of the coin. This coin is just overall eye pleasing when gazed upon with the naked eye.
