    Title:
    Massachusetts Farm House
Description:  Massachusetts Farm House model. 1725 Townsend-Sweetser Lynnfield.
The Townsend-Sweetser Farm House in Massachusetts is located in Wakefield, right at the edge of Lynnfield, which is the location given on the base of the WPA model. Both Wakefield and Lynnfield are located in the Massachusetts county of Middlesex, and it is believed that town boarder changes are the reason for the difference in recorded locations of the house. The house is named the Daniel Sweetser House due to its acclaimed architect and resident and was built before the year 1795. The house is a two and a half story building made of timber and has two interior chimneys. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 and has remained on of the better-preserved houses in the area. Some changes have been made to the house including the structure of the roof, but the framework remains the same. [Jackie Miller, MU]
