1979 Texxas Jam II Ticket Van Halen Boston Heart Blue Oyster Cult

This is for an original ticket stub from the 1979 Texxas Jam II (2) which was held at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas Texas. A 15.00 general admission ticket would have given you the opportunity to see some of music’s best bands at their peak. Van Halen, Boston, Heart, Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult, Sammy Hagar and TKO would be furnishing the tunes for the day and night entertainment. As what would become a custom in the heat of the Texxas Jam, firehoses would be sprayed on the crowd to help give concert goers a bit of relief from the 104 degree heat. The ticket has a crease in it, but when you factor in that most of the audience were wearing shorts without T shirts (at least the males), not too many of these tickets even exist. One of the toughest Texxas Jam tickets to find, only one stub (graded authentic) is on the PSA population report. An incredible souvenir from some of the best music the country had to offer.
