    Description

    19th c. Antique Carved Wood Architectural Plaster Mold initialed "W.Y, V,K."
    From NYC. Used for the manufacture of plaster ornamentations, to embellish room interiors. After the plaster would set, the mold would be popped, a skim coat of plaster added and the element would be affixed to the wall.
    There is black lettering on the edges, perhaps mold patterns.
    4 x 12in. x 3/4in. Weight, just under 1 lb.
    Good condition. No splits. Old white plaster residue on the front ends.
