19th Century Stamped Brass Window Cornice Valance - From Its Original Home

I purchased these around 20 years ago from the buyer of a grand mid-19th century Italianate house in the Mt. Washington area of northern Baltimore. The house had belonged to one of the local mill owners. The owner removed them from the front parlor floor to ceiling windows over which they had hung since new. They measure 58" from end to end, project 5" from the windows, are 6" wide in all but the center ornament which is 10" from top to bottom. Structurally they are very sound since they hung in the same places all their lives. They recently underwent a thorough cleaning to remove over a century of soot, dirt and tarnishing, many of the areas of ornament which had become dented and bent over the years were also gently worked out to their original shape.
