    Check your current belt for stretching, burns, and wear.
    Lay the welder on its side, as pictured above, the lower side of the  belt should be touching the brass wheels, the upper side of the belt should not be touching the frame.
    A stretched and/or damaged belt can one or more of the following problems: wrinkles, false welds, voids, and tracking problems.
