    Description

    Please email with any questions. 19th century wrought iron fence fragment. 19 1/2" wide and 21" tall to the top of the center spear-topped upright. There is a drilled hole at the top of that center spear which makes us think that someone may have had an old fence on their property. Rather than scrap or repair, they salvaged sections to cover vulnerable windows on a house to deter an intruder. It came from a rural Georgia estate. Surface rust but very sturdy. Would look fantastic on a light-washed wall or on an exterior wall. Could also be mounted over a window in an exterior door.
