Description
This is an amazing piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home.
It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built in vanity with a his and hers closet to either side.
It is made of oak and is unpainted.
The center section is recessed and backed with a beveled mirror with a washstand below.
There is a drawer and small cabinet below the vanity.
To either side are doors to access the closet areas.
The doors each have a beveled mirror in the middle with raised panels above and below, upper panel has a carved festoon.
There is a drawer below each door.
The 4 legs are fluted and topped with applied carvings and carved flowers.
The pediments have bullseye plinths, ornate reel and bead molding and carved crown molding.
Most hardware is present and in working order.
There is a label on the back, it was made by Kammerer on Germantown Ave Phila in 1895.
Magnificent piece.
It measures 109.25 inches wide by 91.5 inches tall and 19.5 deep.
It disassembles into 4 basic sections to load onto a pick up or cargo van.
This was a built in unit so the closet areas do not have backs or outside panels.
Overall it is in good condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning. There are small chips, dings and a few light cracks. P

I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
