    Description

    Description
This great antique framework was salvaged from a Philadelphia, PA Victorian Home.
It was originally in the Master Bedroom as the face to a built in armoire.
It is made of quarter sawn oak and is painted.
The 4 legs each have a round column sitting on a tall plinth with carved capitals at the top.
The center section held a mirror (missing) with a drawer below (face of drawer only).
A single pediment spans the entire length, it has applied carvings and a crown molding trimmed in egg and dart molding.
This would make a great backbar, bookcase, or butler's pantry.
It measures 139.5 inches wide by 99 inches tall.
The openings are 49 inches wide by 84.75 tall.
This is the face only, there are no back or side pieces.
It disassembles to load into a van or pick up.
Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as well as light cracks as it is antique.  It could use a good cleaning. The left return molding is missing. The legs have screw holes and dowels along the edges. Please see the pictures carefully.

    Terms of Sale
I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.
    About Us
My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
