    Shipping
Unless otherwise noted, shipping and delivery are at the buyer’s expense. We maintain a list of shipping firms and are happy to assist with quotes. Baileywyck can ship any item to any destination in the world safely and fully insured. Buyers are welcome to contact us to discuss shipping options and arrangements—customer service is a priority, and our goal is to make the shipping process smooth and pain free. Please note that i) all items must be paid in full before we can schedule shipping or pickup, and ii) Baileywyck Antiques is not liable for loss or damage to purchased items after they have been released to a third-party.
    Cost & Time
. Fees for shipping and delivery vary depending on the value and size of the item shipped, as well as how and where it is shipped. For furniture, it is typically most cost effective to ship single-pieces ship via blanket-wrap, consolidated shipping services. Delivery time is dependent on the schedule of the particular shipper (consolidators wait until they have a full truck) and is typically within two to eight weeks of pickup (sometimes more, sometimes less).
    Procedure
. i) Baileywyck (typically) obtains quotes and forwards them to you; ii) you select a shipper and pay them directly; iii) shipper contacts us to coordinate pickup. We are not affiliated with any shipping company, and we obtain quotes purely as a service to our customers. You are more than welcome to have your own shipper pick up the item for delivery.
    Local Pickup
. Buyers are welcome to pickup their purchase/s from our brick-and-mortar store located in The Plains, Virginia (± 50 miles/75 minutes west of Washington, DC). Please remember to bring your own blankets, ropes, tie-down straps, etc. We are happy to help load.
    Local/Semi-Local Delivery
. Depending on the item/s purchased and delivery location, we may be able to deliver in our Sprinter van. We charge a reasonable fee for this service.
    Nonlocal Delivery
. For longer distance shipping throughout the U.S. and worldwide, we are happy to help arrange and coordinate shipping and delivery of your purchase/s, including obtaining quotes. If you don’t have your own shipper, we maintain a list of third-party shipping and crating firms.

    Antiques & Provenance
. The provenance and exact age of antiques are, by their very nature, difficult to pinpoint. Our merchandise can be well over 100 years old. While we endeavor to give accurate and honest descriptions and photos, we do not list or take pictures of every scratch, nick, chip, etc., as almost anything this old will show signs of use and wear.
    All Merchandise is Sold “As-Is
.” While we strive to be as accurate as possible, Baileywyck Antiques, “Baileywyck,” makes no claims, promises, or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of the information in this ad, and expressly disclaims liability for any errors and/or omissions in the contents of this ad.
    No Warranty
. Baileywyck hereby disclaims all warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties with respect to the condition, quality, design, description, dimensions, measurements, color, age, origin, rarity, historical reference, importance, authenticity, attribution, provenance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. All statements and communications made by Baileywyck Antiques, its agents and employees, whether oral or written, are statements of opinion only and not warranties or representations of opinions or fact.
    Return Policy
. No returns unless otherwise noted. We want you to be thrilled with your purchase/s, so please feel free to ask any questions you might have, or for additional photos, before submitting an offer or bid or purchasing an item.
    Storage
. Items purchased must be picked up or shipped within 45 days of purchase. We will make every effort to accommodate both your needs and the shipping company’s schedule. However, if after 45 days from the date of sale, pick-up or shipping arrangements have not been made (or other arrangement agreed to by us), you will receive a nonrefundable Store Credit for 70% of the purchase price. This Store Credit expires 180 days after the purchase date.
    Acceptance of Terms
. Purchasing, bidding, or making an offer on any item indicates your acceptance and understanding of the above terms and information.
