Description
This is a kitchen wall that is set up as an L shape. The wall has 10 boards of varying width that are feather tongue and groove cut. That means that the male end of the board is goes from very thin to the full 3/4" thickness and fits into the female groove end of the next board. Only two boards have one flat end they make up the corner. You could set these boards up in pretty much any order to make the size wall you are looking for.The wall came from the John Devotion House built in 1735 in Suffield, CT. I have a full history of the property which sadly no longer exists.
These walls are used as an end wall in a room or a section wall as an accent. The paint is original and only has one repair to where an outlet had been cut out.
The wall overall is: The right L is 44 3/4" x 95" high and the long portion is 87" long x 95" high. As you can see the boards to vary in height so some are slightly shorter. I displayed this wall recently at an antiques show and have included the photo from that show. I do not attach anything to the front of this wall.
This wall can be safely shipped as flat boards and each board is numbered on the end. Please ask for a shipping quotation.
