You can own a piece of American history. I am selling roughly 200 antique paver block from early 1900's. Companies include, The Nelsonville Brick Company (Ohio), Clinton Paving and Building Brick Company (Indiana), Poston Paving Brick Company (Indiana), Trimble Brick Manufacturing Company (Ohio), Carlyle Brick Paving Company (Ohio), Mexico Brick and Fire Clay Company (Missouri), Strasburg Brick Company (Ohio), BARR Clay Company (not sure of location).
Most of the bricks are Nelsonville block, followed by Poston block. In the early 1900's when they paved the Indy Motor Speedway, Wabash Clay Company made 90% of the 3 million plus pavers for the speedway track surface, but since they couldn't produce all of them, they contracted a couple companies to make the remaining 10%. Poston Paving Brick Company was one of those companies contracted. They made 4 variants of block that went into the speedway, and 1 of those 4 are in this batch of bricks (W.C. CO, POSTON BLOCK, PAT).
I am not selling individual blocks. I am selling these all together. Buyer must come pick them up and dig out of ground (located in South Bend, Indiana). These would make great "accent" bricks for custom fireplace builds or brick walls, walkways, or even door stops. Or you could display them on showcase shelving.
