ANTIQUE PENNSYLVANIA AMISH WOOD BARN HOUSE ROOF COPPER CUPOLA WHITE.
Taken off a Lancaster County Pennsylvania Amish barn shed. All original with a copper roof and bottom sides. Copper flashing pieces are also included to attach to the cupola and your roof. The white painted wood has weathered here and there but no wood has rotted. Two of the slats are loose and will have to be reattached. At one time there was evidence that there was a weathervane attached to the roof. You can see the outline and nail holes where it was attached. I don’t know the pitch of the roof it came off of but I’ve given you pictures with measurements so you might be able to figure out if it’s going to fit your application. But even if it’s off a little bit, you might be able to saw some of that wood to make it fit. It’s approximately 34” high as it is wide. Now if you are really considering a purchase of a cupola for your project, consider this. Yes, you can purchase a brand new one for a cheaper price but what are you going to have? One just like everyone else. With no history behind it. So when people come over to your place, and notice this nice antique sitting atop your building, you can now have a conversation about where it came from and how you had the pleasure of attaching it yourself. You are not going to find another one like it. Now with the large size and weight, I will only accept a local pickup. So, any questions? Just ask.
