Antique Vintage Primitive Architectural HYGIENIC SOAP GRANULATOR CO

Description

Up for auction is a vintage antique chrome plated wall mounted early soap dispenser made by the Hygienic Soap Granulator Co., NY NY.  This was recently found at auction in the Lancaster County PA area.  It is found in good used condition.  Soap is inside, comes out dry.  Probably chrome plated over brass (does not attract a magnet).  Canvas bag with two mounting screws.  Heart shape flange has model number 7911 on arm.  Polishes up a little but has bruises, pitting scratches, paint drips and some plate losses.  Heavy for its size.  Called a Shaver System.  The dry soap on wet hands would have turned into lather.  Uncommon early dispenser.  No key for opening.  Comes out from wall ~6", base approx 2" height 7 1/4".
