This is or a 15oz bag of Calgon's ASZM-TEDA impregnated activated carbon. This is the same carbon media that the military uses for their gas masks and air filters for protection against harmful gasses and chemical agents. This is a 1lb bag of activated carbon with a mesh size of 12x30 (conforms with MIL-DTL-32101). We received this directly from government surplus sources, and it will be shipped in 1lb sealed bags as pictured.
ASZM-TEDA is an activated carbon that is impregnated with copper, silver, zinc and molybdenum salts and triethylenediamine (TEDA). This gives full protection against cyanide, cyanogens chloride (CK), and is used as a sorbent against all known and suspected chemical weapon agents.
This is great for the creation or refill of gas mask cartridges. It is often used in larger quantities for larger air cleaning filters for entire rooms and bunkers
