    c1880 Square oak newel post stair bannister
    Measures 45” high - is 8.25” square on base - 6.25” on shaft & 9.5” square on the top cap
    Great paneled design - one trim piece under the cap is missing & one edge needs some polish as it looks like some rubbing or wear.
    Base has standard cutout for where it met a staircase!!
    Salvaged in western NY
    Great piece for restoration project!!!
