  • Condition: I would grade this banknote as crisp about uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note has one light fold or crease that is about 1 1/2" long and start from the top edge near the right corner and extends downwards at an angel half way through the note. This is the reason we are grading the note as AU instead of UNC even though we believe the fold is due to miss handling and not due to circulation. Other than that the note has no other folds, no creases, no soiling, and no graffiti. The corners are intact and squared with no rounding. The note has no pinholes, no tears, and the corners are intact and without folds. This is a great looking note which would make a great addition to your collection.     A beautiful crisp about uncirculated banknote from Iceland. This is the 29 March 1961 Five hundred Kronur currency note. The banknote is green on lilac and multicolored underprint. The front depicts the image of a man's bust (H. Hafstein) to the left. The back has the image of fishermen hauling fish in a net into the boat. The back is in green coloring showing waves in the sea and birds in the sky. The note has a watermark of a man (S. Bjomsson) facing left when observing it from the front. This particular note has the serial number F3727923 and has two signatures. The note also has a security thread left of center. Please carefully review scan as it is part and parcel of our description.
