This was a 3 part process. I took a 2D drawing and created a 3D file. We then printed the tile by means of 3D print. We created a mold of the tile using silicone & then casted the mold with one of my favorite cement mixtures. I spent a good bit of time sanding to make sure the surfaces were smooth and ready for the firing. Once fired - I refused to touch the piece anymore. This is a one of a kind. I doubt I'll ever be able to recreate its perfection. I will try though...
Customer will receive the tile pictured. It is a replica of Frank Wrights, 1923 Freeman House in California. The tile its self is 5.5X.5". I apply green velvet on the back of the tile to help protect the tile and your surfaces.
