Great 18th Century Carved Panel with Battle Scene

Description

Fantastic folk art wood panel depicting a detailed battle scene. Deeply carved on a single inch and a half thick board that weighs over five pounds. Superb original paint and excellent untouched surface patina. Continental European, most likely Italian or Spanish. This is an awesome and large piece.  Possibly an architectural fragment or part of a circus wagon. Looks much better in person.
Date: Early to mid 18th century.
Size: 37″  x  8 1/2″  x  1 1/2″.
Condition: Expected aging and wear with some losses. As-Is. Please use photos and description to determine condition.
