  • Condition: This hand carved antique panel is from France and it dates to the late 1800's. It depicts a scholar seated with his work. It's carved from solid oak and finished to a dark oak color. It's in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. In addition it has a repaired crack running from top to bottom. It's hard to see on the front but more visible on the rear. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions: 16.5" high, 12" wide and 2" thick.

    This hand carved antique panel
    is from France and it dates to the late 1800's.  It depicts a scholar seated with his work. It's carved from solid oak and finished to a dark oak color.  It's
    in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches.  In addition it has a repaired crack running from top to bottom.  It's hard to see on the front but more visible on the rear.
    As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.
