Historic Antique St. Louis Laclede No. 1 Fire Brick.
This brick was found on piece of property south of St. Louis 50 miles where an old early to mid 1800’s house place used to be. There is nothing but remnant’s of foundations and bricks left now amongst the trees that have take over the area but I’m guessing that this brick was one of the many that made up a fireplace of some sort for the house. It is stained in a few spots but that just adds to this bricks story and unimaginable past.
