Large Antique Cast Iron Lawn Jockey - Horse Racing
This auction is for an antique cast iron horse racing lawn jockey.
The cast iron jockey is quite heavy, I guess around 175 pounds.
It is approximately 47 inches tall.
So shipping is not an option. This is a local pick up item only, unless other
arrangements are agreed upon prior to purchase.
This was removed from a local Victorian Mansion when it was demolished back in the
early 1970's.
The painted finish is from the 1970's or earlier. It has not been touched since being removed from
the mansion. It has been buried in a yard full of stuff and not displayed for 50 years.
There are areas of flaking paint and also areas of rust.
Personally I think it looks beautiful the way it is.
