  • Condition: Great condition. These have been stripped, nail holes filled and painted with one coat of primer. Minor imperfections, scrapes, bumps. You might want to give them another coat of primer since the first coat is a bit thin on some of the blocks. Overall, I'd rate these items at 95+ on a 100 point scale but you are the final judge so please review my high-definition photographs to fully appreciate the condition.

    About this Item:
    Set of 43 (forty-three) ornate Victorian corner blocks c.1880.  These are the most elaborate corner blocks I've ever seen.  They are large (5 1/8" wide by 11 1/2" tall) and feature an incredibly detailed carved flower in the center (looks like a daisy to me).  If you are looking for an incredible set of corner blocks for your Victorian home, you are unlikely to ever find a nicer set...much less 43 matching ones!
    They have been stripped of old paint, the nail holes have been filled and I even coated them with an initial coat of white primer.  All you need to do is nail them up and paint them the color of your choice.
    These are antique, so you shouldn't expect them to be perfect, but they in very good condition and look great when installed (see the second photo to see one of these corner blocks that I installed on my home...please Note: the ones I am selling are all painted white.).
    I believe they are made from pine.
    Note:  There is a small amount of variability in the width of the corner blocks: nearly all of them are right at 5 1/8" wide but 3 of them are approx. 5" wide
