Marble Console Entry Shelf Foyer Wall Table

This is such an absolutely beautiful piece. It was salvaged out of a beautiful home in Brentwood. It was located right when you walk in the door it’s the left. The front entry area had beautiful marble floors and the table truly complemented them. This table was made very well with quality materials. The top features a beautiful black marble with white veins right underneath the top part of the shelf is a strip of detailed carved white marble. On each side are two beautiful legs with a decorative leaf like element on the front . On the back of each leg is a block that is used for support for the back of the legs keeping it flush against the wall. They are most likely placed during insulation the one on the right separated during removal showing how it was originally installed. The pieces are still intact and can easily be put back into place upon installation. There are a few chips to the back edge of the right leg where it connects to the block but nothing that would be noticeable to the eye
When looking at it directly. We also noticed a few small cracks in the marble showing that there is age to this piece. We do not know enough about its history to know where it came from or how old it exactly is but this is the first time we’ve ever come across anything quite like this. The pictures truly do not do it justice. We also noticed a chip in the top right corner of the table top. Tried to include all of the detail in the photos
