Intended to replace or be substituted for the removeable hard polycarbonate (clear lens outsert) each Millennium Gasmask is issued with by the factory.  Easily removeable hard outsert/shield provides impact protection & is ideal when using Millennium Respirator / Gas Mask in bright sunlight.  .... OR you just want to look like a badass!
(Full facepiece Gas Masks cannot be worn with sunglasses as the 'arms' would interfere with the masks seal against the face.)
