This is the coolest piece of Americana for sure. Straight from Butte Montana abandoned coal fields is an authentic COPPER and guaranteed old and antique COPPER COAL MINING BUCKET. This lovely piece is substantial standing 13-1/2” tall x 14” diameter at top and almost 10” diameter at base.
I love how the bottom was fitted to the bucket, this shows the age of the piece!
This would be lovely as a planter for your fall mums or perhaps a wonderful catchall for your firewood. Whatever you decide to do with this will be lovely! A true find!!
Definitely shows the expected wear and oxidation of the copper in places, perhaps a good cleaning is in order. A few dents here and there but all add to its glory! The cleaning part Will leave that up to the new owner!
