early paneled divided shutters, pair, you are buying the pair
1.  wood, probably pine
2. original putty color paint
3. paneled on one side smooth on the other
4. matched pair,
5. each piece has a long panel hinged to two shorter panels,
6. short panels allows you to open one or both or open the whole thing
7. condition is good, not perfect
8. large hinges to attach to the casing are missing
9. all hinges for the panels are there
10. I have not cleaned these right out of NH barn
