    Here is a rare and essoteric peice of Southern California San Diego History.
    A limited edition commemorative brick from the R. E. Hazard Contractor Company Brickyard.
    This 50th Anniversary Red Brick was fired for the sole purpose of being awarded to each of the Hazard staff in 1976.
    This brick would have been fired in the brick yard kilns that once operated in Mission Valley San Diego CA. where the “Hazard Center” stands today.
    Hazard is responsible for a great deal of early roadway development throughout San Diego and Rancho Sante Fe. Their work on the 5, 8, 15, and 805 freeways has also cemented them in southern California history as a critical part of infrastructural development. Their Red bricks were sealed into countless projects and have been a cherished part of their early business history and overall growth.

    Approximately 2 1/2 inches x 8 1/8 inches x 3 6/8 inches
    Condition: this brick is in age related condition with black kiln fire markings on every side and ring stains on the top. (SEE PHOTOS)
