Here is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own some really nice reclaimed Tongue and groove Mahogany
This wood was taken from the floor of a vintage Railcar
just think what this wood has seen!
just think of what chemicals have been ground into the pours of this wood over the many years service!
These Boards measure
Width 5 1/8 inches wide (minus the tongue)
thickness varies 2 1/4 -2 3/8 inches
length 8 feet
Condition
There is NO rot in these boards
some of them are burnt on the bottom because some of the anchor bolts had to be cut off.
the worst one of the burnt boards is in the photos, majority of boards are not burnt
Description
I took a 4 ft chunk of this wood and sent it through a plainer and you can see how nicely the wood cleans up.
I oiled part of the wood so you can see how beautifully the grain comes out.
this is quarter sawn wood!
all the wood is tongue and grooved

each board weights about 32 lbs each and with 48 boards this will weigh about 1600 lbs
