Shield Nickel With Rays 1866 Monster Die Cracks Reverse

Due to our recent office re-location we are now able to service our USA customers in a more economic and secure manner with USPS tracked shipping, up to twice weekly.
Very pleasing example of  an interesting 1866 Shield Nickel . Appears to be struck through grease obverse as "GOD "  is pretty much missing from motto. Very large last 6 in date as a lot are for this issue. Reverse struck from a broken and deteriorating die.
Very interesting example for a study coin. Totally original and uncleaned piece from an extensive Shield Nickel hoard we recently acquired.
