Small Wall-mount Brass tone MAILBOX | Hinged Lid w/ Lion door-knocker style lift
Offered here is a SMALL Brass tone Mailbox, measuring a mere 11 inches wide and 5¼ inches in height. There's a firmly-attached lion-head with a ring to lift the lid open. I'm not certain what the metal makeup of the box is, but it appears to be brass, as a magnet is not attracted to it, and there's no rust. No flaking of any materials on the surface. Also no dents.
I don't know how old this item is. There are no markings of any kind on it.
This is an older mailbox that shows evidence of being out in the weather. It could use some cleaning up, but it's pretty much ready to mount and use. Mounting requires two screws (not included). On older items, I always leave whatever patina the item had, and leave it to the new owner to spruce up as desired.
When mounted to the wall, the mailbox protrudes roughly 4½ inches from the wall.
