Description

Own a piece of history. These 17” cast aluminum letters with their original paint once graced the Porte-cochere in front of the Holiday Inn French Quarter hotel in Perrysburg Ohio. These letters are available as a complete set and will not be sold separately. There are only two sets of these letters available for purchase.
The New Orleans-themed hotel was open for more than 50 years. The hotel with French Quarter-inspired decor opened in April, 1967. The hotel was a popular spot for weddings, family trips, conferences, live entertainment, and the Toledo-area favorite Betty's salad.
Countless happy memories were created here through multiple generations. Owned by Bennett Enterprises, the French Quarter along with their famous Sunday morning brunch at J. Patrick’s, featuring the ever present Gene Parker and his band are no longer a staple of Perrysburg’s hospitality. The Holiday Inn French Quarter had a strong presence in Northwest Ohio and we will certainly miss this historical local icon.
