Vintage Cast Iron Eagle Snowbird Snow Ice Roof Guards

Description

Purchased from an estate sale in Kentucky comes this great Pair of Vintage Cast Iron ~ Eagle Snowbirds~ Snow & Ice Roof Guards. These would have been placed on the roof of a home, or garage to prevent snow or ice from slipping off the roof when the door was opened. The eagles measure approximately 5” tall, with 6 “ wing span, the bar used to attach to the roof are approximately 6” long. The cast iron shows pitting from its age. Nothing serious at all to distract from this great set of snowbirds.
