  • Condition: This large crest is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It was originally at the top of a large bed. It is made from solid and veneered walnut finished to a warm dark color. Overall it is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there are a couple of woodworm holes in this piece and some slight chips in the carved fabric (see photos). Dimensions: 45.25" long, 19.75" high (not including the pegs) and 6" deep.

    This large crest is from France and dates to the late 1800's. It was originally at the top of a large bed. It is made from solid and veneered walnut finished to a warm dark color. Overall it is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that there are a couple of woodworm holes in this piece and some slight chips in the carved fabric (see photos).
